Blockade 1.9 [BLOCKAD] <blockade.pcx>
Board Games
PC Solutions; $15
is a strategy board game similar to Othello. Each player takes turns
placing his pieces on the board, but unlike Othello, your piece must be
placed adjacent to both one of your pieces and one of your opponent's.
The effects of such a placement differ from Othello as well. An
interesting game.
Cascade 1.9 [Cascade] <cascade.pcx>
Strategy Games
PC Solutions; $15
is a strategy game played against the computer. A maze of letters is
presented on the screen, scattered with balls and other objects. You
take turns with the computer removing a letter, and the balls cascade
down the gaps left. On reaching the bottom, they will enter your hopper
and add a value to your score.
Clue Detective Notebook 1.1 [CLUEBK]
Games

prints detective notebooks for either the Clue or Master Clue games.
They are redesigned to print two games per page and provide more room
for notes. The lists are in Suspect, Room, Weapon order to conform to
the Master Clue computer game play order.
Double Deck Auction Pinochle 1.0 [DDAPNCL]

matches you and a computer partner against another computer partnership
in Pinochle. You will learn how to bid, meld, and win tricks. Great
graphics. Requires EGA/VGA, color monitor, and a mouse. (Don't try
running the game under Windows or DesqView.)

is a parody of the Street Fighter arcade type game. All the ozone has
burned up and you must fight off Froggers. The evil Froggers were people
at one time.
Quote-Tris 1.0 [QUOTRIS] <quotris.pcx>
Word Games

is a Tetris style word game. It combines famous quotations with the
action of a Tetris arcade game. You put together a notable quote using
random words that descend before time runs out. Requires hard disk and
VGA.
Silencer [SILENDF]
Strategy

is a military strategy game in which you'll battle with seven different
creatures that vary in number, speed, and strength. There are 15 levels
of competition and various skill levels. VGA required.
XXIV [XXIV] <xxiv.pcx>
Math/Tetris

is a math game with a Tetris style. Sets of three numbers fall and the
object is to get numbers to multiply together to equal 24, horizontally
or vertically. Three levels of difficulty keep you on your toes.

allows you to create graphical adventure and role playing games. This
system supports for up to 1000 worlds with 500 characters or objects per
world; predefined scripts for a variety of character types and classes,
object types and classes and world types; graphic files for CGA, EGA,
VGA and TANDY screens; and a script programming language to modify just
about every aspect of the game.
Other features include Sound Blaster voice, music and textto-speech
drivers; PCX graphics; execution of DOS programs under script control;
and utilities to convert graphics, print reports, and create voice
files. A sample adventure game with Sound Blaster files is included.
Available on two 3.5" 1.44MB disks or PsL's August CD only.

is a shoot-em-up space game like the old Galactica arcade game. Features
include great 256-color VGA graphics, sound effects and joy stick
support. Requires 286+ and 640K RAM.

is a strategy arcade game. Features include nine levels of gameplay,
beautiful graphics, and joystick support.
The object is to move an air-filled ball around by releasing it's air in
any of four directions, collecting all the blue gems and the team flag.
You will encounter many other weird symbols along the way. When you
finish a level, you're presented with a symbol. To win the game, you
must match the nine symbols with each of the nine levels. Requires a 386
or better and 640K RAM.
Moraff's Dungeons of the Unforgiven I 1.1 [UNFORGIV] <unforgiv.pcx>

is a dungeons and monsters game. You battle flying monsters, female
warriors, and water creatures. It features realistic 3D imaging,
built-in help, and support for Hercules to Super-VGA video. Requires a
hard disk or high density floppy.
Rescue Rover! [ROVER] <rover.pcx>

is an arcade style puzzler. You must solve intricate puzzles and concoct
clever schemes to free your dog Rover from evil robots. Requires 640K
RAM and EGA/VGA.
Wall Pipe 1.0 [WALLPIPE] <wallpipe.pcx>

is a sequel to the Oilcap game. It pits you against the clock as you try
to keep water flowing from a well by creating a series of pipe links to
control its flow. Requires EGA/VGA and a mouse.

[Abuse] 1.1 (Dan M. Shaw; $19) generates colorful language from a database
of thousands of phrases. Vocabulary is approximately PG-rated.
[Amazing] 1.1 (Arthur Wells, Jr.; $12) is a game in which you must move
your marker through mazes to the goal. The mazes are never the same.
If you complete eight mazes, you move to a higher rank in which the
game becomes more difficult. <amazing.pcx>
Easy Play Penta [PENTA] (Todd Johnson; $20) is an attractive, EGA
version of Penta. Two or more human players are required you cannot
play against the computer. <penta.pcx>
[GridLock] 2.0 (Fred Lee; $25) The objective is to design a system of
traffic controls that allow maximum traffic flow without getting
blocked intersections or gridlock. The traffic system must be
developed so that test cars drive their routes in the shortest amounts
of time. Requires 512K, EGA/VGA, DOS 3.2+, and over 10 MHz.
LottoMATIC 1.23 [LOTTOMAT] (CTech ASP; $25) is a general purpose lottery
program. It is configurable for virtually any lottery. Three separate,
user selectable quick-pick algorithms are included. You can store
plays, track winning numbers, and play repeat numbers. It prints
several reports.
Word Search Creator 3.0 [WORDSRCH] (Owen Associates; $29) creates and
prints word search puzzles. Words can be entered manually where ever
you like, or the program can automatically place words for you.
Puzzles can be saved to finish or edit later. Mouse support is
included. EGA/VGA.
X-Wing Manager 1.1 [XMANAGR] (Gregory M. Smith; $5) is a management
utility for LucasArts' game X-Wing. It provides many more optional
spacecraft and environments. You can view a listing of all pilots and
revive any dead or missing pilots without loss of points, custom
design your own fighters and save up to five modules.
X-Wing Mission Design Kit 1.2 [XWINGDK] (Henry Chang; $7) allows you to
design and construct X-Wing missions. All aspects of the mission are
included, such as ships, space objects, and the mission briefing.

(GA-03: #4902) [Starfire] 1.4 is an action-packed shoot-em-up space game.
